In this episode, I had the incredible opportunity to provide a brunch for and sit down with a panel of about 15 black men, who candidly shared their experiences, challenges, and victories as black male educators. From navigating stereotypes and micro-aggressions to being seen as JUST the disciplinarian and embracing the role of a father figure to those in need, their stories will touch and inspire you.
The conversations were open, honest, and real. A safe space was created for these black men to share their journeys, allowing them to express their joys, frustrations, and the immense impact they have on their students' lives.
